Do Something For Yourself

So we all know that helping others feels good. However, it does take A LOT of energy out of you. If you keep going, doing more, and putting more on your plate, you are going to burn out very fast. If you burn out you won’t be as effective in helping others. Sometimes you need to take a moment to stand back and do something for yourself. Maybe you just need a hot bubble bath or time to read a good book, or maybe you need a longer break than that. Sometimes in life, you need a change of scene.  Do what you can for yourself. Take a little time to relax, to recuperate. When you are taking care of others you must remember to take care of yourself too.
